NEW Plugin vdr sc_0.6.0 installation guide.

The laste version of the vdr plugin sc was release a few days. I've tested it and it's work better with the gbox program.
Evolution of the sc_0.6.0 version :

13.01.2007: Version 0.6.0
- Stable release. Minimum supported VDR version is 1.4.0. Note that the stable
branch doesn't support and probably will not support VDR 1.5.x series. This is
left to the upcomming unstable branch.
- Added support for new TPS algo. You need a current tps.bin (mostly changing
daily) file in plugins/viaccess/.
- Fixed CW swap for Nagra2 providers 0501/1101/1102.
- Fixed BEV inadvertently using Nagra1 ECM decoding only.
- Fixed Nagra1 ROM10 updates (broken by ROM3 changes in 0.5.12).
- Fixed compiling issue with missing "asm/unaligned.h".
- Added Makefile option for static build (sasc-ng).

The connection with gbox was also tuned ! With the version 2.25 it's working without freeze.
The tps.bin support is very powerfull.


Follow this step to upgrade your vdr installation.
You can download the source of the plugin sc at this location : http://vdr.bluox.org/download/vdr-sc...c-0.6.0.tar.gz.
# cd /usr/local/src
# wget http://vdr.bluox.org/download/vdr-sc...c-0.6.0.tar.gz
# tar xvfz vdr-sc-0.6.0.tar.gz -C VDR/PLUGINS/src
# cd VDR/PLUGINS/src
# ln -s sc-0.6.0 sc
# cd ../..
If you have a vdr not yet patched download and apply this patch
# wget http://vdr.bluox.org/download/vdr-sc/vdr-1.4.0-sc.diff
# cat PLUGINS/src/sc/patches/vdr-1.4.0-sc.diff | patch -p1
# make clean
# make plugins-clean
# make
# make plugins NAGRA=1 SECA=1 CONAX=1 SHL=1 VIACCESS=1
# cd ..




cardclient.conf: add those lines into the file
#
# gbox client
#
# NOTE: hostname & port will be ignore. GBOX must be runnning on the local
# machine. For convinience you should choose localhost:8004
gbox:localhost:8004:1/0500,0100

If you want to use the tps.bin files
# cd /video/plugins
# mkdir viaccess

Download and copy the tps.bin files into this directory.

It doesn't work on my Avantgarde.
Patching cat PLUGINS/src/sc/patches/vdr-1.4.0-sc.diff | patch -p1 fails.
Please help !!!
